Octopus – card logistics solution.
OCTOPUS serves for process automation in payment cards departments’ units responsible for card personalization & logistics. It covers and improves the whole production cycle – from personalisation plastic orders till finished dispatch of the products (cards) to end users.
OCTOPUS can be used by in-house units (banks) and/or specialized third party personalisation bureaus; both for financial and non-financial card personalization (payment, ID, loyalty cards).
OCTOPUS minimizes manual work and optimizes major activities and technological processes within payment card department as well provides electronic journals of all activities – from personalisation materials (plastic, pin envelopes, etc) orders till final products’ dispatch to internal or external clients.
OCTOPUS was built up as a group of WEB applications, developed using AJAX technology. ORACLE is used as a database server.
